نادِ علیؑ اصل میں یہی تو ہے یادِ علیؑ
وجد میں جب بھی تیرا نام میں لیتا ہوں علیؑ
بیٹھے بیٹھے ہی نجف گھومتا رہتا ہوں علیؑ
دل دھڑکنے کی صداؤں میں بھی سنتا ہوں علیؑ
اے میرے مولا علیؑ یہ محبت تیری
راہ جیسی بھی ہو مجھ کو نہیں گرنے دیتی
خیبری جنگ میں چالیسواں دن آیا تو
کہا اللہ نے جبرائیلؑ نبیؐ سے کہہ دو
وہ جو مظہر ہے عجائب کا، پکارو اُس کو
جب علیؑ آئیں گے سب بدل جائے گا
جیت جاؤ گے ابھی جنگ، کہو میرے نبیؐ
راستہ نیل میں موسیٰؑ کو دکھا دیتا ہے
کشتیِ نوح سے طوفان ہٹا دیتا ہے
اور کہیں نار کو گلزار بنا دیتا ہے
حضرتِ آدمؑ سے مصطفیٰؐ تک سب کے
کام آیا ہے یہی ورد جہاں جس نے پڑھی
میرا انداز ملنگانہ بنا دے مولا
جو تجھے دیکھ لے وہ دانا بنا دے مولا
مجھ کو بہلول سا دیوانہ بنا دے مولا
عشق اتنا ہی مجھے میرے مولا تجھ سے
میرے سینے میں ہے دل اور ہے اُس دل پہ لکھی
کھویا رہتا ہوں شب و روز تیری یادوں میں
زندگی بن کے تو بستا ہے مری سانسوں میں
دل لگا رہتا ہے ہر وقت تیری باتوں میں
ایسا لگتا ہے مجھے ساتھ ہے تو میرے
تیری یادوں سے نکلنے نہیں دیتی ہے کبھی
نیزہ اکبرؑ کے کلیجے سے نکالا تو پڑھی
تیر بے شیر کی گردن سے جو کھینچا تو پڑھی
ایک گٹھڑی میں جو قاسمؑ کو سمیٹا تو پڑھی
لاشہ جب عونؑ و محمدؑ کا اٹھایا تو پڑھی
کٹ گئے ہاتھ، گرا گھوڑے سے جب یادِ علیؑ
شاہؑ لاشے پہ گئے پڑھتے ہوئے نادِ علیؑ
الغرض شہؑ کا گلا شمر نے جب کاٹا
کچھ قدم دُور سے رو رو کے بہن پڑھتی رہی
پہنچیں دربار کے دروازے پہ زینبؑ جس دم
خاک پہ ایسے گری پھر نہیں اٹھ پائے قدم
یاد بابا کی جب آئی تو ہوئی آنکھیں نم
رو کے زینبؑ نے کہا ہو کہاں اے بابا
جب مدد کے لئے بابا کو پکارا تو پڑھی
بیڑیوں پر جو گرتی رہی پانی لا کر
جو بہن شام تک آئی تھی طمانچے کھا کر
قید سے جو نہیں جا پائی رہائی پا کر
اُس بہن کا لاشہ قبر میں جب رکھا
اُس گھڑی سَیِّدِ سجادؑ کے ہونٹوں پر تھی
جس کے سینے میں ہے غم زہراؑ کے اجڑے گھر کا
بس وہ درویش ہے ذیشان و رضا اس در کا
اُس پہ رہتا ہے کرم شام و سحر حیدرؑ کا
یا حسینؑ! کہنا غم میں روتے رہنا
اپنے سائے میں عزاداروں کو تمہیں رکھے گی
