بلَغَ الْعُلیٰ بِکمالِہٖ، کشفَ الدُّجیٰ بِجمالِہٖ
حَسُنَت جَمیعُ خِصالِہٖ، صَلُّوا عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

(وہ اپنے کمال سے بلندیوں کو پہنچے، اپنے جمال سے اندھیروں کو مٹا دیا

وہ کمالِ حُسنِ حضور ہے کہ گمانِ نقص جہاں نہیں
یہی پھول خار سے دُور ہے، یہی شمع ہے کہ دھواں نہیں

دو جہاں کی بہتریاں، نہیں کہ امانیٔ دل و جاں نہیں
کہو کیا ہے وہ جو یہاں نہیں، مگر ایک نہیں کہ وہ ہاں نہیں

میں نثار تیرے کلام پر، ملی یوں تو کس کو زباں نہیں
وہ سخن ہے جس میں سخن نہ ہو، وہ بیان ہے جس کا بیان نہیں

بخدا خدا کا یہی ہے در، نہیں اور کوئی مفر مفر
جو وہاں سے ہو، یہاں آئے، جو یہاں نہیں تو وہاں نہیں

کریں مصطفیٰ کی اہانتیں، کھلے بندوں اُس پہ یہ جرأتیں؟
کہ میں کیا نہیں ہوں محمدی؟ ارے ہاں نہیں، ارے ہاں نہیں

تیرے آگے یوں ہیں دبے، لچے، فصیحِ عرب کے بڑے بڑے
کوئی جانے منہ میں زباں نہیں، نہیں بلکہ جسم میں جان نہیں

وہ شرف کے قطعہ ہیں نسبتیں، وہ کرم کے سب سے قریب ہیں
کوئی کہہ دے یاس و امید سے، وہ کہیں نہیں، وہ کہاں نہیں

یہ نہیں کہ خلد نہ ہو نکو، وہ نیکویی کی بھی ہے آبرو
مگر اے مدینے کی آرزو، جسے چاہے تُو، وہ سماں نہیں

ہیں انہیں کے نور سے سب عیاں، ہیں انہیں کے جلوے میں سب نہاں
بنے صبح تابشیں مہر سے، رہے پیشِ مہر یہ جاں نہیں

وہی نورِ حق، وہی ظلِ رب، ہے انہیں سے سب، ہے انہی کا سب
نہیں اُن کے ملک میں آسمان، کہ زمین نہیں، کہ زمان نہیں

وہی لا مکاں کے مکیں ہوئے، سرِ عرش تخت نشیں ہوئے
وہ نبی ہے جس کے ہیں یہ مکاں، وہ خدا ہے جس کا مکاں نہیں

سرِ عرش پر ہے تیری گزر، دلِ فرش پر ہے تیری نظر
ملکوت و مُلک میں کوئی شے نہیں، وہ جو تجھ پہ عیاں نہیں

کروں تیرے نام پہ جاں فدا، نہ بس ایک جاں دو جہاں فدا
دو جہاں سے بھی نہیں جی بھرا، کروں کیا کروڑوں جہاں نہیں

تیرا قد تو نادرِ دہر ہے، کوئی مثل ہو تو مثال دے
نہیں گل کے پودوں میں ڈالیاں، کہ چمن میں سر و سماں نہیں

نہیں جس کے رنگ کا دوسرا، نہ تو ہو کوئی، نہ کبھی ہوا
کہو اُس کو گل کہے کیا بنی؟ کہ گلوں کا ڈھیر کہاں نہیں؟
